God's Plan of Salvation

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY...Heaven or Hell?
Wouldn't you like to be sure of going to Heaven when you die? According to the Bible, God’s Word, for you to go to Heaven, you must be saved. Here is what you need to know.

First of all, you must know that if you have not confessed your sins to Jesus Christ, you are a SINNER who has sinned against God. "There is none righteous, no, not one." (Rom. 3:10) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Rom. 3:23) Because of your sins against God you will be ETERNALLY LOST and spend eternity in Hell. "For the wages of sin is death." (Rom. 6:23) "...the unbelieving...were cast into the lake of fire..." (Rev. 21:8)

Secondly, you must understand that GOD LOVES YOU and WANTS YOU TO BE SAVED so you can go to heaven."For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us." (1 John 4:10a) "The Lord is…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Pet. 3:9) The good news of the Gospel is that because of God’s love for you He sent His Son to die on the Cross and PAY FOR YOUR SINS. “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures." (1 Cor. 15:3) "Christ died for us." (Rom. 5:8) "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins." (Col. 1:14) God “sent his Son to be the propitiation (sacrificial payment) for our sins.” (1 John 4:10b)

Thirdly, you also must realize that salvation is because of what Jesus Christ did for you on the Cross and that YOUR GOOD WORKS DON'T SAVE. God’s salvation is "not of works, lest any man should boast" (Eph. 2:9) and it is "not by works of righteousness which we have done.” (Titus 3:5a)

Finally, to be sure of heaven and know that you are saved, you need to ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST as your personal Saviour. "As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." (John 1:12) "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him..." (Rev. 3:20) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Rom. 10:13)

You can express your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by calling upon Him in prayer to save you. If you are ready and willing to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, let me suggest that you bow your head and sincerely pray to the Lord, "Dear God, here I am.  I am a sinner and I repent for all of my sins.  Lord, I’m sorry.  Please forgive me, please wash me, and make me clean.  I now want to and do give my life to you.   I receive your son, Jesus Christ, as my own personal Savior.  Lord, I thank you for washing my sins away and for forgiving me.  In Jesus name I pray. Amen."
